Based near Lincoln in Lincolnshire, Artimus is a family-run business specialising in installing green technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, wind turbines and air conditioning. When it comes to renewable energy, we’ve made a conscious decision to provide a holistic set of capabilities from the beginning to enable a client to deal with a single point of contact for multi-disciplined installations. We’ll be more than happy to work with you to find solutions to more unusual and complex designs, and we excel at finding non-standard solutions to technical challenges. But we don’t limit ourselves to just the more complex designs – we’re happy to provide solutions for a single technology.

We operate ethically and we will always strive to provide the customer with an installation that meets their needs – and this might not always be what they thought they wanted! We don’t want to install something that we know won’t work or won’t achieve their goals. We are passionate about producing installations of the highest standard and we'll seek to gain work by referral from our customers.

We don’t believe in repetitive production line installations to bottom-out prices and negatively impact quality.

Our beliefs

The need to reduce carbon emissions to prevent dangerous changes in our climate is a big concern to most of us, and is now part of government strategy and shapes legislation. Whilst the installation of lower carbon technologies in your home may not seem like a huge contribution, a small change made by lots of people does make a difference.

We make the installation and integration of low carbon technologies a simpler process by keeping the majority of our services in-house. We also believe in doing things right, and want to be the provider of choice for people who want cost-effective quality.

Social responsibility

We believe social responsibility is key to the health of the company and everyone we work with.

We support Raising Smiles, a charity supporting children in hospitals and hospices throught the UK.

We also sponsor a local women's football team, HBW United. As the company grows, we will support more charities and have committed to a minimum donation of 10% profit to these charities.

Diversity is also key to the well-being of a business. We will make this a fundamental part of our recruitment as our team grows.

I came to Artimus with an unusual renovation job in an awkward barn conversion, and they absolutely delivered. We were guided through the design process in a very clear, personal, bespoke manner. Installation was flexible and carefully arranged to fit around us. Every issue that arose (and there were several!) was handled with consummate professionalism. We are more than delighted with the final product, which looks absolutely brilliant and is a joy to use. Being so involved in the design process and seeing the installation progress step-by-step has been great too, as we've been able to make key decisions and witness the level of detail and attention that's gone into the work - it's basically been whatever the opposite of corner-cutting is.
